The Black Seeds AUSTRALIAN TOUR: March 2010

New Zealand's The Black Seeds have been well and truly spreading their

unique brand of reggae around the globe in recent years with numerous

European festival tours, and the successful North American release of Solid

Ground last year with top U.S label Easy Star Records, supported by a

twelve-show tour.

 

Catch this energetic eight-piece as they return to Australian shores during

their first full Australian tour since 2008, when they performed at Golden

Plains Festival and a string of other dates. Joining them as support for

this tour will be Melbourne's finest exponents of dub/reggae The Red Eyes

(all dates except Byron Bay). Having just completed a standout performance

in January at the Days Like This Festival in Sydney, New Zealand reggae-soul

heavyweights The Black Seeds are keen to return to Australian shores.

 

Described by Clash Magazine as 'one of the best live reggae acts on the

planet', The Black Seeds bring the raw energy and good vibes wherever they

go with a legendary live show that delivers a boundary-crossing fusion of

big-beat funk, dub, soul, afro-beat, mixed with vintage roots-reggae.

 

The March tour supports the Australian release of latest single 'Love Is a

Radiation', off the platinum-selling Solid Ground. A new limited edition

live album The Black Seeds Live: Vol 1 will also be available exclusively at
